Immediately after your injectable skin treatment you may notice redness, swelling and bumps of product beneath the skin which is perfectly normal, these bumps will diffuse over the next 12-72 hours. You may also notice some bruising to any injected areas which should resolve over the next 3-7 days. Results will be visible from 10-14 days onwards.

Immediately post skin-needling you may notice pink or red skin & swelling which feels like a sunburn. This is to be expected and will slowly fade over the coming 12-48 hours. On the night of your treatment, it is recommended not to cleanse or use water only followed by a moisturiser.

•Three to five days after your treatment you may notice that your skin becomes a little dry. This is a completely normal process due to the dead skin cells being stimulated upwards. Avoid picking the skin and apply moisturiser and/or hyaluronic acid 2-3 times per day.

•If you were given your own plasma to take home, please keep at room temperature and use twice daily for the next 1-3 days (until it’s finished). Do not ice any injected area after PRP injections as it may impact results.

For 24 hours after your treatment:

•No saunas, steam rooms, or heat (this may increase swelling & inflammation)

•Avoid strenuous exercise

•Avoid alcohol

•Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin

•No make-up

•No AHA’s, BHA’s, retinol or intensive skincare products

For 5 days after your treatment:

•No AHA’s, BHA’s, retinol or intensive skincare products

•Wear SPF50+ and avoid direct sunlight completely

•Drink plenty of water

•Avoid facials, peels, laser hair removal or waxing in the area

•On day 5 you may re-introduce your regular skin care regime. You are encouraged to exfoliate any remaining dead skin cells with a chemical or physical exfoliant, followed by hydrating serum and moisturiser.

Skin Needling stimulates your body to produce natural collagen and elastin, which continues for up to 12 weeks after your treatment. Individual results vary, with some patients noticing a discernible difference within a few weeks and others needing several treatments every 4-6 weeks.
